  • Got some time to waste for a few laffs?

I think we've al heard the tongue-in-cheek spoof on car parts called a "muffler bearing". Some guy on FB put together a very well done video on how to change one out, with good props and all - even a blinker fluid labeled bottle. If you have a few minutes to waste, check it out at https://www.facebook.com/reel/1428027682217403
Update: Same guy also produced a funny video about that blinker fluid. His brand helps lubricate the flash synchros. That one is at https://www.facebook.com/reel/1309113063782542 .

A long time ago I was in an O'Reilly's parts store and this gal walks in and gets in line. She obviously worked in an office as she was nicely dressed and wearing short heels. Totally out of place for a parts store... When she got up to the counter, she asked for one of those muffler bearings. Her husband had specified he wanted a chrome one instead of a painted one. Several guys turned away, trying not to laugh, me included... The counter guy handled it very well. He told her that apparently her husband was having a little fun with her as there was no such thing... She turned beet red and muttered "That son of a bitch..." as she turned and headed for the door... As soon as she was outside, everybody lost it... I would have liked to follow her home to see how it all ended... I would try that on my girlfriend but she knows better...

Doc, I guess t is one will just be for you, because I don't think anyone else hangs out here any more. I have told Donald it's time to pull the plug.
Anyway, another funny, sent to me by brother on the East Coast. He's a car guy, but not a hotrodder. [Current ride is a Lotus, not that there's anything wrong with that....]
