Looks like a really solid car. What are you planning for the drivetrain?

I’ve got the Mustang II suspension prepped and painted for install. Currently prepping the firewall for paint. Scraping undercoating sucks!

                I also picked up a 68’ 350 that’s been rebuilt with a rebuilt th350 transmission.

I found a write up on Steve’s nova website about how to modify the factory steering column to work with the mustang ii rack. The factory Chevy ii column is one piece with the gear box, so I cut the steering shaft as long as possible and then had chuck Whitfield mill the end to accept the double d u joint. I also got the part number off the write up I found for a bearing to put inside the column to hold the steering shaft because it doesn’t have one since it’s one unit with the gear box.

Minor progress is progress right? Finally got the firewall all in self etching primer. I’ve been picking away at it alittle here and there because it’s not fun at all to do but will be nice when it’s painted and clean.
