Guy that use to hang out down Peoria and do a little street racing, dating myself there, had one of those Pontiac rear ends in his 71 Malibu. Everybody back then thought 10 bolts meant no horsepower so he always would tell guys heck it’s got a 10 bolt how fast can it be. Real sleeper for the time. Set a little high in the front, steel wheels, 350, still used the column shifter, even had his kids baby seat in the back.
Ran low13’s high 12’s. Not really fast by todays standards but held it’s own back then.
