Default Hey CamaroDoc

Are you going to compile a 2020 swap meet list?

Yeah, I've already started on it. Just got back home after my surgery and recovery at my mom's. I can do a lot more from my laptop here at home than I could with just my phone...

Doc, the Feb 28-29 shows to be in OKC, but the Sedgewick swapmeet is usually in Hutchinson KS. Is it a typo, or are they moving south?

It's a brand new swap meet. They are invading Oklahoma...lol. Supposed to be all indoors...

There is a brand new one in Claremore this year as well...

4 swaps the same weekend (Mar20-21 Norman, Chickasha, Duncan and Claremore)and only 200 miles apart?
What are folks thinking.
Really was looking at hitting some swaps this year and shedding some of the junk....I mean really good items I have.
Duncan and Claremore were two I was hoping to make. I think Chickasha is the pre war swap but would like to go just to see things you don’t normally see but would really not be a buyer for... at least that is what I have been told.

The swap in Claremore is also a brand new one put on by the Tulsa Roadsters group so they can get a newby pass on tbe scheduling issue. (This time) ... That being said, the folks that put these things on really need to check the schedules of what's going on around them when they set their dates. Kinda like the deal that cancelled the DFW swap last year. The swap was scheduled and then the venue booked in a Mexican carnival which took up all the parking and they wanted Dean to use their security service for added $$$.... I don't blame him for pulling the plug even though that's been a great swap meet in the past...

Was looking forward to the Claremore deal since it will be indoors. Always a plus at that time if the year.
I have been to Duncan when it was 70’s and sunny and 30’s and snowing. Haha
Just wait and see what the weather brings but as I said looking to sell this year not buy.

Duncan usually has some different stuff. It seems that some of the others have the same people with the same trailers full of rusty junk every year.
