Default 396 parts

Hello everyone I'm new at this but I have a 72 Camaro that taking out my 350 and trading it for a 396.I would like some info on the swap and to see if anyone has some old bracket they dont use anymore,Like alt.,p/s,a/c. Im going to try to make it look as if it came in it.Donald told me about how great you all are about things like this, so if you can please send info.Thanks alot

Welcome to the Pond!
I switched a small block for a 454 in my 66 Impala. I had the same problem. I had no brackets, pulleys etc. After looking around a little while, I opted for the big block factory serpentine belt system. I bought mine from PACE, but you can sometimes find them at salvage. You have to change the bolts the attach it to the heads since the ones they supply in the kit were metric. I just used all thread and nuts and I can pull the whole system off real easy. The new kit is a little pricey, but it comes with everything if you don't have anything but a block. If you are looking for the classic "V" belt look, good luck.
