Default Dad's truck....Long Gone...

Just thought I would throw this out there and see what you guys thought of it..... It was my dads truck, picture was taken in 1962, I came home from the hospital when I was born in ...62.....It's a 32 and yes it has a HEMI in it. It's long gone...sure would like to find it or build its twin...

Wish I had some pictures of the other stuff he had....33 Ford 2dr sdn, chopped, 327 fuelie corvette motor, 4speed, Had that car around 69-70.....man it was bad and fast....! In 72-73 he had a 57 Nomad that had almost every available option..He bought a brand new crate LT-1 and turbo 400 and put in it, It ran in the 12's with the a-c still hooked up.The list goes on and on. Back in the mid to late 80's we saw a truck in Ark City that resembled his 32 but it had a sbc in it instead of the Hemi. He had the truck when we lived in Manhattan Ks.

Was the truck you saw in ark city blue? Can't remember the guys name but it sat across from where my kids went to grade school, i saw it almost every day....still around as far as i know.

If I remember right that truck was flat black or dark gray primer, Sat on main street towards the south end of town at place called the hot-hot shop......???? cant remember the name for sure.
